Accessibility and Standards

This website has been designed to be as accessible as possible to people with disabilities. It is compatible with, but not optimised for, adaptive technologies including screen readers and text-only web browsers.
To navigate this website, primary links and search features can be found in the header, left and right carousel navigation within the body and secondary links within the panels.
This website has been built to comply with standards for most modern browsers. If the information does not display correctly, we suggest you update to the most current version of your preferred browser.

Screen size and resolution

This website has been designed to be flexible for most standard screen resolutions and is best viewed at 1024 x 768. It will be viewable at a screen resolution of 800 x 600 but you will miss the total experience in this format.
To enlarge your browser to fit the whole size of your screen:

  • In Internet Explorer 9.0 select View > Full Screen or press F11
  • In Mozilla Firefox, select View > Full Screen or press F11

Accessibility for the Visually Impaired

In order to improve accessibility for people with colour-related visual impairments, the website has been designed so that you can import your own style sheet.

  • In Internet Explorer 9.0 select Tools > Internet options > Accessibility. Next click on any or all of three checkboxes to ignore colours, font styles or font sizes. In the same window you can change your style sheet by clicking the checkbox that says, 'format documents using my style sheet' then simply browse to your style sheet and click OK.
  • In Mozilla Firefox select Tools > Options > Content then your chosen font family.

Alternatively, should you wish to navigate this site without colour:

  • Internet Explorer 9.0 select Tools > Internet options > Accessibility > Ignore colours specified on Web pages.
  • In Mozilla Firefox select Tools > Options > Content > Fonts & Colours > Colours > then uncheck 'Allow pages to choose their own colours, instead of my selections above'.
